Belletto Studio Review and Swatches!

Hey upsessers!

I recently purchased a Belletto Studio Airbrush system off of Hautelook the other day for $100 plus tax. The kit that I purchases normally runs for $484 on their website www.bellettostudio.com. The set is called Beauty Basics Airbrush System and I purchased the color set Fair Skin with Pink Undertones. And I have to say it was one of the best $100 dollars I have invested on a single makeup product. The set included the compressor, the airbrush wand, four shades of foundation ranging from fair to light/medium, one blush, one eyeshadow, two primers, and a bottle of cleaner solution. I have to say so far I have tried the primer, foundation in shade F3 beignet and the cleaner solution afterwards. I have to say I was amazed at how easy I found the system to use. The instructions are very clear and to the point and it also comes with a informational DVD. The coverage was light to medium but could be built up to be a fuller coverage foundation. I applied 2 layers and resulted in a professional airbrushed look with a medium coverage and no cakey-ness. I loved the fact that you couldn't even tell I was wearing makeup and the length of wear earned the system some major bonus points. Applied the foundation around 1 pm and removed it at 10 pm and I did not have any touch ups in the mean time. For any one looking into investing in an airbrush system and wants professional quality with ease of use as a beginner this is the system for you! I have taken a bunch of pictures that I have included below to help you get a better idea of the system! Enjoy and let me know if you have a Belletto System as well, or any other airbrush system and how do you like it?! xox Ali

  1. Thank you for this post! After hours of looking for reviews, this is the only one I've found that mentions how long the product lasts on your skin. I'm still curious about how it wears on certain skin types, how well the product sets and if it transfers much. Thanks again! :)

    1. Your welcome! And thank for stopping by!! As for staying power I always Set my foundation with a normal setting powder and with that I haven't seen any melt away during the day! Transfer wise I think it depends how much coverage you go with lighter to medium there wasn't any transfer because its so light weight fuller coverage a little transfer before it settled and dried but after setting powder you were good to go! I hope this helps!

    1. Malisa I would contact the company you ordered it from to see if they will replace your missing foundation. If not try starting with a anti redness primer mufe and smash box make a great one

  4. I ordered and just got mine the other day , it took a month to arrive from haute look , my compresser is white however , looks kind of cheap and the zipper case it came in doesn't have the periodic table , I thought all the kits came with the periodic table . Also when I applied the foundation I found it looked cakey and was itchy on my face , It didn't look natural or cover my pores I guess I will just have to spend a lot if time to try an make this work , u fortunate considering I spent $150. For a kit that is apparently supposed to be worth $520 , as is right now I'm regretting even spending the $150. !

  5. I do not like my kit. I got the $430 kit for $100. I saw reviews on YouTube of the $400 kit coming in nice packaging with the box showing all the colors. So I figured the higher price would come with even better packing. Not so much. It was in a small box and that's it. Also I feel like my regular makeup routine looks better than the airbrush. The airbrush also brings out the wrinkles when i laugh or squint my eyes. And all my baby hairs on my face stand out with the air brush. PLEASE HELP

    1. Kaylynn, I had mixed feelings on it as well the first few times I used it. I find applying your own concealer onto your skin first helps to hide extra blemishes and increases coverage. As for filling into your lines try using a pore filling primer to help fill in skin first before applying and don't hesitate to build the coverage with the system by applying a few coats, each coat is so like it does not get cakey! I hope this helps let me know if you have any more questions!!

  6. Hi Im looking to purchase the billeto starter kit but I am worried about getting the wrong skin color. Usually I use a neutral or fairly light foundation and that always works. Would you know which one I should go with?

    1. Hey! Thanks for your support! I know its so hard picking foundation colors out online if your olive in undertones I would go with a yellow undertone kit, which you probably already know, if you tend to be more fair than light go with the fair/light kit you can always mix the darker and lighter colors together to get the perfect match. But if you tend to be more light and get more towards medium during the summer time get the light/medium so you can also use the shades to mix colors to get the perfect match so you can match your tan and you lighter skin! Hope this helps!!

  8. I ordered this system and loved it at first, however, once it breaks you are out of luck. They will not honor their warranty! They want me to spend $30 to replace the airbrush gun that has a supposed lifetime warranty and send my original back. I wouldn't recommend after this experience, customer service has stopped responding.
