For the price the quality is fantastic great color pay off, wear time and no fall out! I highly recommend these shadows to anyone who hasn't tried them yet, or looking to build their collection with high quality low priced cosmetics!
(I am in no way paid by Coastal Scents to say any of this I purchased these all with my own money)
Each pan sells for $1.99 a piece!

S38: A flesh tone color with a pinky undertone almost matte but has some shimmer.
Earth Rose: Contrary to the name it has more of a brown meets dusty rose but the brown stands out, would call this shimmer because it has only a fine glitter dusting throughout.
Chocolate Berry: This is a gorgeous deep brown with a purple/raspberry undertone so satiny and shimmery a must have!
Mai Tai: A very pretty shimmery taupe with a with a silver but almost pink undertone, very unique.
Southern Wood: A very pretty pinky brown similar to Urban Decay's Toasted but a little lighter.
Chocolate Cherry: A deep shimmer brown with red undertones.
Boca Moca: High bronzed shimmer shade with a gold sheen, super pretty!
Kodiak: A golden green shade with an olivey hue, a very special color LOVE IT!

Mini LUSH Spa Night!

Hello Upsessers! So the other night me and my best friend went to LUSH and purchased a few things to have a mini pampering spa night! And I have to say a few glasses of wine and face masks later we were definitely feeling like pampered princesses!
The first thing I purchased was the Love Lettuce Fresh Face Mask. This mask, according to Lush's website and wonderful employee that helped me, is a balancing mask for all skin types. What attracted me to this mask was the fact that is was exfoliating with the help of the ground almonds inside. The mask's other active ingredients is kaolin which helps to tighten pores, and the mask also has honey which acts as a natural moisturizer. BONUS: It was only $6.95 a jar and there is enough in there for atleast 3 masks! (fyi needs to be refrigerated)
Lush's website also goes on to say "We blend fresh seaweed to nourish and soften with 100% pure French lavender oil to balance an oily T-zone and ease any inflammation. Use Love Lettuce for bright, fresh skin that glows from the inside out." about the mask! I would give this three thumbs up if I had enough hands! A must try for anyone since it caters to any skin type.
Now this next product I purchased because I have only been hearing every youtube guru I follow rave about it for forever! And that product is the BUBBLEGUM LIP SCRUB. I love everything about this the sweet smell, the great bubblegum taste (yes you can lick it off your lips safely), and the cute girly pink color! This sugary scrub def does the trick to gently exfoliate dead dry skin off of any chapped winter lips! This will definitely be included in my weekly skin routine for sure! I can't wait to try the other flavors too! $9.95 for a 0.8 oz jar!
Lastly the very nice sales girl gave me a sample of the Dark Angels Face Wash because I was on the fence whether I wanted to try it or not. I have to say it is a very nice face wash/soap but I don't think it was really suited for my skin type. When doing a little more research about it on Lush's website I found it is geared towards oily skin and I have more normal-dry skin; so I feel this dried me out a little bit because I didn't have that much excess oil to remove. With saying that I would most certainly recommend this to someone who does have oily skin because it definitely does remove the pesky oil all the while exfoliating away dead skin. Lush's website also states to use this one in shower as it can get "quite messy" which I agree with 110%, since there were black crumbles all over my girlfriend's bathroom afterwards lol! $28.95 for a 8.8 oz jar!

6Contour Blush Palette Coastal Scents Review!

Hello Upsessers! Sorry for being so absent but I am back and working hard to bring you a ton of new posts! So to kick it off I thought I would start with Coastal Scents 6Contour Blush Palette.
Now I have to say I was a little put off by some of the chalky textures of certain colors in this palette just because I have such high respect for their eyeshadow. But besides the texture I was very pleased with pigmentation and coverage.
This palette includes One Translucent Powder, I use it as a setting powder and you might be able to get away with it as a subtle highlight powder.( I did not include this is the swatches for obvious reasons of it being translucent)
The next color is a light flesh colored powder with yellow undertones, this color has nice coverage but this is where the chalkyness comes in to play, if you apply with a light hand and build up coverage I didn't notice a chalky build up. I am going to guess the chalkyness stems from the fact that the powder seems to be a finely milled pigment, which does finish out to have a silky texture once rubbed in.
The next color is another flesh tone but this one having pink undertones instead. Again same chalky texture but does blend out to a silky smooth finish if applied the right way.
The contour color is a deep matte brown, it is a chocolate-esque brown with very nice buildable color. Just a word of advice to fairer skin tones apply very lightly and build to desired color because a little goes along way and it is very easy to over do it with this color!
Lastly the two blushes which are probably my favorite things in this palette. The blush in the top row is a very rosy matte pink, very gorgeous, very vibrant and very wearable; LOVE! The blush in the bottom row is a nice tea rose that is also a matte color. I have noticed this one does go on a lot sheerer than the other so it may take a while to build the desired pigmentation.
Retails on Coastal Scent's website for $18.95!

Now enough typing onto the photos!
